Stanley Park Playground at the Air India Memorial Site
The Air India Memorial playground commemorates those who perished in the 1985 Air India bombing. In respect to the 82 children that lost their lives aboard the flight, the old Ceperley playground was refurbished and provides a safe, fun, and carefree environment for children to grow.
“The children’s playground symbolizes the innocence of those children who died in this tragedy. This place offers a beacon of hope to the children of today and the future,” - Jayashree Thampi, who lost her husband and young daughter in the tragic attack
